I’m designing a little girls room at the moment and while doing some online research (aka blog surfing) I’ve found some wonderful images along the way.  Here’s just a few of my discoveries.

How about this for elegance.  This French style day bed together with accessories such as this crystal chandelier, ensures the little lady who calls this room home will grow up to appreciate the finer things in life.

This pink and green room is really fresh and cute.  I love the pink love seat, but not sure about the headboard in front of the window though.

The simplicity of this room is just perfect.

I just love this little mini double bed.

Who says little girls rooms need to be pink.  This room just screams glam from the mirrored furniture to the fur bean bag. It’s more suitable for a tween than a tot though.

Now this is what you call a themed room.  This Trompe L’Oeil hand painted mural would make any little girl think she is Queen of her castle.

Not all themed rooms are good ……..

Cinderella Room Thank heavens for little girls

I’m sorry, but I’m seeing more Katie Price than Cinderella here.  And just in case you are considering this for your little princess, it will set you back $47,000.  I kid you not!

Love the pink and green (though, like you, don’t like it in front of the window) and the mini double bed – but the themed rooms – yes, I don’t like at all.
