We have a shoe rack press thingy in our bedroom. The problem is that my husband wears a size 10 shoe whereas my little cindy feet are only a 4. As a result his shoes fit nice and neatly on the bars, while mine fall down the gaps and end up in a mess at the bottom of the cupboard!
Here in Ireland one of the most popular ways to add space to your home is by converting the attic. Attic conversions make great use of unused existing space and are generally a lot less costly than adding on an extension.
Last year a friend of gave me a gift of a Santa Sack which I use to keep all my Christmas wrapping paper and tags. But when it came to all the other occasions throughout the year, I had a jumbled mess of wrapping paper, gift cards and tags. So I finally got around to making a dedicated Gift Wrapping Station. And when I say I ……. I mean I ….. Me ….. all by myself !!
There is something very satisfying about re-using everyday items in a new way. And when it comes to re-purposed décor elements, wine crates are up there with the best of them. They are great for displaying items and for storage. Now I’m not suggesting you drink your way through copious amounts of alcohol just to collect some crates, but if that’s what you want to do, who am I to stop you 
However you can probably pick them up for next to nothing at your nearest off licence.
The season of wrapping paper and ribbon is upon us. But don’t get stressed this year frantically rummaging through the house locating scissors, pens, ribbon and tags. Here are some simple and inspirational ways for you to organise your gift wrapping.
Those of you with young children will know that for little things, they have an awful lot of stuff! Who knew that along with children came train sets, and lego sets, and dolls houses, and cuddly toys and action toys and books and bricks and games and stickers and paints and crayons and ……..
