When it comes to choosing which photo’s to display, I can be the most indecisive person on the planet. An arrangement I may like on Monday could be totally out of favour with me by Friday! Enter Picture Ledges. They give me the freedom to change and rearrange them as often as I like without having to punch more holes in my walls.
There is something very satisfying about re-using everyday items in a new way. And when it comes to re-purposed décor elements, wine crates are up there with the best of them. They are great for displaying items and for storage. Now I’m not suggesting you drink your way through copious amounts of alcohol just to collect some crates, but if that’s what you want to do, who am I to stop you However you can probably pick them up for next to nothing at your nearest off licence.
Valentines Day is getting close. But it doesn’t have to be all about red roses and chocolate, sometimes love can be just black and white.

I’m a list maker! I make lists for lists. I follow my To Do List like the bible and I like nothing better than sitting down with a good old pen and paper making a list. I’m a sucker for pretty office stationery and am always on the look out for something stylish and creative for my desk. And I also like to bring a bit of humour to my workspace. So when I discovered a great website selling creative, witty and clever To Do Lists and Note Pads……
At the moment I’m on the hunt for a quotation decal for my kitchen wall. I haven’t yet decided if I want something inspirational or witty. Knowing me, I’ll probably go witty!! Here are some of my favourite finds so far.
Mirrors are an essential decorative feature as they intensify light and add depth to a room. Used correctly mirrors add elegance and drama to a space and brighten up dark drab corners. They work great in every room particularly in hallways which are often lacking in natural light.
January is almost over, the most depressing day of the year is behind us and spring is almost in the air. But this is Ireland and we can never be sure of lovely bright spring days to look forward to. So to brighten your mood here’s just a few of my favourite accessories out there at the moment.
