All Things Bright & Beautiful

We’re almost halfway through January and I’m only just beginning to get my blogging mojo back! I found it so difficult to get back into it, probably because I had such a nice long break over Christmas. That and I had such a back log of work to catch up with in my “real job” that blogging had to take a back seat.

But I’m all refreshed now and rearing to go

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and 2013 is starting positively.  Personally  I have a good feeling about this year, but I say that every year!  Always the optimist me  Speaking of cheering ourselves up, one thing we can look forward to at this time of the year is the arrival of Spring.  I don’t know about you, but I’m not a winter person so I always love to see the first crop of crocus and daffodils peeping up from the ground.  They herald the start of longer days, (and fingers and toes crossed) are a prelude to a long hot summer!

But spring is not just for outdoors.  Why not lift your spirits and energise your home by introducing bright fresh colours into your interiors.

A quick and inexpensive way to reflect the seasons in your home is by changing your accent colours.  Replace cosy winter accessories with fresh tones of greens, bright yellows or oranges.

Brighten up a quiet corner with bold cushions and vibrant accessories and create a cosy spot to relax and watch the arrival of Spring.

Throw off the winter duvets and replace with cool crisp linens to brighten up the bedroom.
