Hi, my name is Karen Hughes, I’m an Interior Designer based in Dublin, Ireland and the owner of Emerald Interior Design.  I hope you find this blog interesting, informative and hopefully entertaining too.

About This Blog

I started this blog as I have a passion for design and I wanted a way to showcase designs and products that inspire me.  But this is totally new territory to me, I have no writing skills whatsoever and I have never written a blog before.  In fact I never even kept a diary as a child!  So please be gentle with me but constructive criticism is always welcomed……. Compliments are nice too though

This blog is a work in progress.  It’s mostly about interior design, projects I’m working on, people and things that inspire me.  But it’s also about me, things I like, things I don’t and the day to day ramblings of my life.  But hopefully, whatever I happen to be rambling on about, I will keep you entertained along the way.

I hope to keep this blog updated a couple of times a week, but that could change depending on my mood, workload and energy levels.   Watch this space……
